Situation

The property is only 8 miles from Darlington which offers a direct train service to London Kings Cross in approximately 2 hours 20 minutes. The centres of Teesside, Middlesbrough and the pretty Georgian town of Richmond are also within close proximity. The
A1 provides fast access north to Newcastle and the borders as well as south to York, Leeds and Harrogate, the A66 joins the A1 at Scotch Corner and leads west towards Carlisle and the west coast.

Outside

Externally, Langdale Hall benefits from a superb range of facilities. Surrounding the house are stunning gardens and grounds which have been beautifully planned and improved over the years. The main lawns lie to the south of the house and immaculate clipped hedges create formal areas and complement the house well. The hard tennis court is to the south east of the house and is presented in good order.

The formal lawns lead over a pretty bridge into the woodland garden which has been opened out in recent years to create stunning views from the house. To the south west is a walled garden and vegetable garden which is totally private and secluded. Adjacent to the walled garden is a set of six loose boxes and a large feed store.

The property is well equipped for the equestrian buyer with an uphill summer and all weather gallop which runs up the western boundary of the property. Within the woodland and fields to the south is a cross country course which has been well planned around the estate and includes a water jump, numerous hurdles and gallops.
